We celebrated the dedication of our little man this past Sunday. It was a bittersweet event. As we honored our new son and gave him back to God our family gave my SIL to God in her final rest.
Since the MIL couldn't make her meaty beans for the occasion I took the lead. Every celebration is not complete without MIL bringing this dish. I made it. One more recipe to cross off in completion of her cookbook.
I am glad to be home and hopefully can re- establish our family routine. For the past month we have been traveling to visit with family and friends to show support and say goodbye to SIL. I am glad to be home. Hopefully we can rest as a family and love one another a little more.
